He punched a guy in the back of the head, from behind and then ran away. He’s a gutless puke and 100points or not, I wouldn’t want him on my team. I think he just cost his guys the series. If I were on his team I would rally the guys, beat the crap out of him in the shower and leave him in a bloody naked pool and then take everyone else out for dinner

I beat a guy up in the room once for being a wienerhead and I got the respect of everyone and he was done

Speaking of Lucic....I’d do a Loui/ lucic swap. Lucic can at least scrap and provide some grit to the 4th line. Loui can’t do anything. Now this hinges on management being comfortable that Lucic can step up his training and not be so pathetically slow. Maybe a return home would motivate him. Lucic also has an extra year on his deal so the Oilers would need to throw in a 2nd round pick this year. Thoughts? Anyone vomit?

Wonder if his contract is slightly less buyout proof?

You guys think I'm crazy lol. Why take another year of crap period when our stars will need to be paid.

I’m shocked saddened and dismayed, as a 49 year old man, how a guy can pass away at 48 years old, it just doesn’t compute? I don’t understand it. Whether you agreed or disagreed with him, he was a son, husband and father which is extremely sad for his family.

RIP Botch. Agree or not, I always have time for people who can form their own opinions. Vancouver sports media is worse off without him.

I heard the breaking news this morning while driving. Satiar Shah had a very hard time delivery the awful news, that was obvious. A young man with a young family, so desperately sad. I feel so much sympathy for his family, his friends & his colleagues.

Thank you for not saying Panarin. I had alcohol poisoning last night

Personally I never liked his articles, never cared for his writing style, never cared for his over the top personal analysis. But that’s just me.

That doesn’t mean I don’t empathize with his family, friends, colleagues. I have also experienced family tragedy with 3 siblings and it’s in describable the pain and emotional roller coaster a person experiences.

As for the bolded above, you must really me.

Amen!

One of these days someone he crossed or injured is gonna get him alone without those who protect him and he's gonna get a hell of a beating. Hopefully by several players
Hell I'll do it on their behalf if I get the chance.

I wonder if he had a condition? He trimmed his weight down in the last couple of seasons.

I have to admit that they are all needed, they all have a place in the sports media. They all present a different point of view, which is great to agree with, or mock, or rip apart.

I don’t get the Nucker bias. I hear IMac on the radio a lot, and sure, he doesn’t go around blasting the organization, but he isn’t without criticism. He has a relationship with the team. He tries to be an unbiased observer, but when you’re that close to everyone it’s tough. The TSN can be more unforgiving because they aren’t the official media partner, but these guys are all journalists, they have a much more valuable “code” than the players live by...

To be fair to him, I think he's toned it down since Linden left. I think he was a Linden fanboy more so than a Benning fan.

Or maybe he's realized that Benning's ship is sinking and he's jumping off the bandwagon and pretending like he he was never on it just like a lot of former/current Benning apologists who now blame FA for every bad move Benning makes while hypocritically blaming Gillis for all of the bad moves he made when he was here

I think, generally speaking, we’re too hard on the media guys. They are paid to offer opinion, and some of them are paid by companies who have contracts with the Canucks.

Funny story, I have a buddy who is a radio DJ and one day he went off on a rant about how ugly and stupid the Nissan Cube was. Turns out the local Nissan dealer was a customer (they paid to advertise on the station). Anyway, he had to go on the next day and apologize to Nissan, and to the station, and basically admit he was a dumb ass to the world.

I like most of the guys on 650, they generally have an opinion, sometimes they sugar coat things, but I get why. There is one guy who just seems not to get it, who offers up some stupid take and is constantly getting shot down. I won’t say who it is, because he will probably read this tomorrow
