Over a Vezina finalist, Selke finalist & 30goal scoring winger who brings speed & toughness

You know what we should spend all that Cap Savings on...

EXACTLY WHAT WE LOST

What’s Lehner going to get on the open market ? Will he go back to Long Island ? Do they resign Lee, Nelson, Eberle as well ? Do they replicate this years success next year ? Carter Hutton played 32 games his last year in St.Louis and recorded a save percentage of .931% and regressed this year.

ROR is either playing hurt or his regression that I pegged for him to have two years from now is already in full force.

Kane is a good player but we got Montour to show for it so I see that as good value considering the circumstances of us not even going to resign him in the first place.

Given Lehner's improvement coupled with Hutton's decline, perhaps we should attribute a good portion of both to the rather porous Buffalo defensive system.

A good portion of Lehner's success stems from a) controlling his drug and alcohol abuse, and b) a very structurally sound system and commitment from his team in playing it properly.

Just the opposite for Hutton, he was left out to dry consistently after their initial 20 - 25 games or so.

With a new Coach, and hopefully he is able to get the team to commit to playing the system properly, the Sabres should see an improvement in GA's.

Let's not overlook Bott's impact here with jettisoning players ill-equipped to play said system for those who can and more importantly who will.

Yes, but the Sabres HAD players here that were SUPPOSED to fill the roles they are known for. While these players were IN Buffalo they did NOT meet expectations. So the organization moved these players and CONTINUE to search for the APROPRIATE players that fulfill said roles.

None of these players are game breakers, they depth players and aging at that, the Sabres will find better suited players. Stop talking like these 3 players were and are the solution, buddy it failed. Next time you feel like this is all you have to say, pause and gargle on cock

When the Sabres hire Gronburg, look for us to add more swedish players. This guy looks good though. 26 years old, fits the plan

Let's make it a two-fer.

Miller and Karlsson for...(I'll wait, because I have no idea)

Blah blah blah

Meanwhile...
we’re trying to find a 2C & top6 goal scoring winger & a goalie

And if we trade Risto,
we’ll need another top4 RH defenseman

Trading good players for picks who may or may not work out & “B” level prospects is dumb

- jdfitz77

Honest question. Did ROR tickle your balls?

Not my battle but accusing someone of "gargling on cock" is pretty harsh response for getting "a little confused."

Just a thought passing by.

It was a response to “pause and gargle on cock” but yes I probably could have went at it a different way.

Good read, like it. I thought Miller played well in Boston for his role.

Easy trade. Since Vegas needs cap relief, I would offer the great Casey Nelson ($812K) and a 4th rd pick in 2020 for Miller. A trade that satisfies both teams. We get Miller, Vegas gets cap relief and a RD from trading Miller.

Woah that would be an interesting trade. Since Vegas has cap issues, best we could offer to them is picks, prospects and a roster player on a decent cap number.

That's a tough trade to make, for sure.

What WOULD they want from us?

First rd pick, I'd imagine for starters.

Completely missing the point
All this Cap Space we have that you’re so happy about, we have to use to replace what we lost
So it’s really not an asset like u make it seem
