Prov and Sanheim are your last-minute/protect-the-lead pair for next season.
Eventually Myers will be the guy. Maybe Morin.
Ghost is one of the best down-a-goal/sudden-death dmen in the league.
The blueline is fine, I wish they wouldn't (frank) with it. Just give it time. - Tomahawk
I'm sure as hell not trading Ghost for Tyler Johnson |

Look at how devastated the Islanders were when they "lost" the production of Tavares. Lets not forget Barzal's production dropped from the previous year as well. They never even signed another player where a fan could add up all the stats of players to see if they add up to the stats of the previous year....stupid Islanders.
- Glak18
You do know that their D core was in absolute shambles Tavares last year right, almost all of the starters were injured. The following year they also got historical goal-tending from two guys (one is up for the Vezina). Look at them now! Getting CRUSHED in the second round, they are so good! Quiet down with this BS. |

Exactly. Go get some forwards and a really good backup goalie. |

Anyone know if the Flyers released the offseason surgery list for the players?
It would be nice to know which players get a free pass for the next few years because they played injured. |

Nah, I thought at the postseason press conference they said the team is healthy; no offseason surgeries this year. No excuses.

Considering the focus and effort in many games....no surgeries since some were mailing it in before the coaching change..you think?? |

If Ghost wasn't playing injured I'll be shocked. Wouldn't surprise me if Provy was playing through something too. |

I could live with Myers but it means we would have to trade one of our current dmen
hopefully ghost |

I thought Ghost said he played part of the season with a knee injury but nothing that required surgery, and he is healthy now. Provy didn’t admit to anything and is also not having surgery.

Agreed. I like Tyler Myers a lot. While I’ve always been in favor of leaving our defense alone, I would move on from one of Ghost or Hagg to make room for Myers. Maybe Gudas.
I’m not in favor of moving on from Provorov, Sanheim or Phil Myers. |

Gudas would be tough to move on from because I don't think Myers will make up for his physical presence |

I actually think Tyler Myers would be a really good partner for Ghost.
You could keep both and move Hagg down to 7th. I can't imagine a scenario where AMac isn't waived and sent down. |

You might be right
Provorov-T.Myers
Sanheim-Gudas
Hagg-P.Myers
Morin
Alternate Morin and Hagg.
This line up still looks impressive even without Ghost. Plus I view Ghost as becoming more expensive. That’s me rationalizing. We’re a better team with Ghost. [url] |
