I would rather have the "Great Dubas" as my g.m. over Bergevin who single handedly ruined your d-core by trading Suban for old man Weber and Sergachev for lazy dog Drouin who had nose surgery this week because he couldn't smell the net.

As a Leaf fan, I would love to sign Myers but like everyone else has said, the cap space will be an issue.

The only way this works is if the Leafs trade a player like Nylander, which is very likely.

As for Gardiner, he is not what the Leafs need. Even if they can afford to sign him, I don’t want/need him back. The Leafs need defence, not an offensive player that makes too many boneheaded plays in his own end.

Now as for the rumour, the Leafs have been interested for the last two years in Myers. This is nothing new so it’s no stretch for Ek to say the Leafs are interested.

First spot is Webs, 2nd is Peteys but you're right Brook is a big time prospect with the potential to be a #1 and top PP guy

Fleury and Juulsen are more Top 4 guys but wouldnt be surprised if at least one of them develops into a Top 2

Then on the left side they have elite elite prospect in Romanov who you're going to ABSOLUTELY DESPISE for years to come along with Walford, Tyszka, Harris coming and that's just on the back end, most of their high end prospects are forwards

Habs have the 15th pick and 3 picks in the first 2 rounds in this upcoming draft so they will only be adding to already one of thee best prospect pools in the league
