I don't think anyone is actually interested in acquiring Lucic, I myself was merely trying to see how angry and dark Marwood could get.

I think some here are willing to role the dice if enough of an incentive is offered, moving up in the 1st round plus picks/prospects and salary retained.

Eriksson has played better than Lucic, has more intangibles, is singed for one year less.

Pretty sad that our over-priced 4th liner, is actually better than another teams overpriced 4th liner.
I would be ecstatic if Loui was no longer on the team, just not for Lucic.
Also, the supposed trade makes no sense, às Oilers need some capspace Now, not in 3 years.

i just hope Hughes can be a Makar/Heiskanen difference maker

Makar and Heiskanen are very impressive defensemen.

I can’t stand the play by play crew working the Dallas/STL game. I had to turn the volume down. Terrible.

what does a pen and paper have to do with recording stats? What do you think books do?

The idiots around this town. I was at the public boat launch at Dragon Lake in Quesnel today. A woman had parked her car across the boat ramp, got out and went for a evening hike up the mountain. There are 8 or 9 trucks with boat trailers parked there... I was there at 4:30. Most of the fishermen who are fishing the hatch are off the water between 4 and 5. People are standing or floating around the launch waiting for her. She came back just as I was leaving at 5:40ish. She was gone 2 hours they said. The people who like to fish the evening couldnt launch and left.

You dont go 15 minutes without running into one of these idiots around Quesnel. It's every aisle at a grocery store.

Just FYI if you have this problem again there are multiple public boat launches. One on Hydraulic road and there is also one over by Robert's Roost off of Gook Rd.

my point being , that those in the know have been doing very similar things for years, maybe not to the same degree , but the same nonetheless . It seems more mainstream due to reporters and bloggers refining the raw data to base opinions on, which to many different people , is purely subjective , not always contextually fact based.

What a pos LE is. Blaming the coach for his garbage play when he's for more than1 coach during his time here with the same result. Excuses!

Green is known to be a players coach and usually gets more out of a player.

It looks like his issue is with greens insistence he break a sweat

They were trying to make the playoffs the last few years, the rebuild has only been going on for 14-16 months
- A_SteamingLombardi

If you read the news, the rebuild is over already. How can we get over the hump is the question everyone in the front office is asking right now. If their answer is Lucic, dog help us all.

The only people who think statistics are subjective are the ones who don’t understand what statistics are. Statistics are always contextually fact based, that is their raison d’être.

Have the Canes passed Nashville/Clagary as the best D? Slavin/Hamilton is just deadly
- neem55

Was listening to SN650 today and they were saying Carolina a couple of years back started copying the Nashville format of drafting and stockpiling D. You definitely get more value back in trades.

I wouldn’t mind if the Canucks adopted this process as well. Much harder to draft and develope elite D.

I want York or Broberg. I want to use the second round pick on a D also.

I don't believe what te crew in here say about the Bro I would gladly take him.

I've been advocating that for the last 3 years or more.
I've picked sergachev and makar for example. This year I'm writing my prayers, letters to santa and easter bunny bribes for byram.

I'm bigger on Soderberg but think either choice would be very solid. both are very different than who we have in the system and I hope JB take whoever he thinks is better of the two. I also agree on the 2nd, but if someone slides than so be it on both picks.

Haven't seen him play yet. Or at least I don't remember him.

The thing I like about York and Broberg is they have size with the skill and play well in all ends.
