In all fairness, i said if I was him. His hangup has always been he loves the Rangers and he loves NY. He ain't going to the Isles.

I think the trading to division rival thing is overblown. We got great return on Grabner for doing the same thing. If Hank really is becoming washed, isn't this the time to cripple a rival?

I highly doubt his ego would let him be a back up. Ego is a good thing except when you get past your prime.

Also don't think the Devils would want his contract with how bad he was this last season. I also doubt Hank would waive to go there. Their defense is probably as bad or worse than ours
