Within a few days after the regular season, and despite the organization's financial woes down in Sunrise, Panthers owner, Vincent Viola stated he had given GM, Dale Tallon the right "to spend all the way up to the cap ceiling for next season".

Their playoff less season was due to both Luongo and Reimer playing sub par after the trade deadline, which is why they will be in heavily on Bobrovsky if he doesn't return to Columbus. One of those two will not be a Panther next season.

Additional word is that the Panthers will also be in seriously on the bidding for Panarin if likewise available as well. In addition to Panarin stating he wants to play in a big NHL market city, and preferably one close to big waters, he has also hinted that he would consider popular type destination cities nearby huge waters, such as Miami.

As to Hank, should Shesterkin, or Georgiev if not traded, earn the #1 starter's role, the question will be whether Hank would be willing to accept a back up role to remain a Ranger for the final two years of his contract, should he still abide by his past word of only wanting to play for this organization.
