Thats funny. I broke mine the last time during Sandy. Was cleaning up the yard had the leaf blower on my back and same thing, stepped in a divot were the soil was washed out and soft.

seems like Alex Nedeljkovic is the goalie of their future, was 2nd rounder in 2014

34-14-4 this past season in AHL 2.26 GAA

I keep waiting for him to burst on the scene. He was super impressive at juniors a number of years ago. It might work out to their benefit to wait a number of years, Gibson is great when he plays, but he already seems to be kind of washed somehow and nicked up and he was rushed up way sooner. Maybe waiting is still a good plan for young goalies.

Carolina's AHL team is loaded

they should get a lot of credit, from top to bottom they do everything right

Carolina is what everyone seems to think Tampa is

My wife went Trinity Rehab to loosen up her shoulder and it seemed to work. She's trying to talk me into going for mine.

It would probably be for the best. I just hate spending time with doctors myself.

To me dealing with pain is just a matter of time. Eventually it becomes your new baseline.

The last couple of summers we were going in at 5am to start work. Counts as OT until 8am then we would stay late and get more OT. Those were brutal but once you get into a routine it just works.

Been helping a buddy out on a part-time job, so I've been getting home around 10 most nights and having a light snack. Going to end soon, then start back up in about 6 months. Like the extra dough, but it's tough.

I have been shying away from the OT lately. Like you said the extra money really makes a difference. But I am sick of not seeing my daughter as much.

What sucks for me is no matter how late stay up, I literally can't sleep past like 6:30 or so. Somehow Sunday morning I woke up and it was like 7:15. That's like a treat now.
- 2sticks1puck

That sucks. We're going to start training again on Sundays, so I should be responsible and go to bed around Midnight so I can get up around 8.

You guys need to be barefoot or in minimalist shoes, haven't turned an ankle on the trail since that has strengthened my feet and ankles.
Did I just jinx myself?

Same here.
I have fitness goals I'd like to reach, but shoulders are holding me back. Funny thing is, when I broke my back last year (not so funny), I was on muscle relaxers for a week and all of my shoulder issues went away only to return right after I went off them.

Vibrams are the bees knees. Even though literally everyone else, but the one guy who introduced me to them makes fun of me for them. I love wearing them in summer.

There is no way I'm doing yard work without shoes on.
Last time I did that I was helping my grandmother out and hit my foot with the weedwacker

My issue was I used to keep my shoes/sneakers able to be slipped on. Really dumb. After that injury I almost exclusively wore boots at work. Then the only injuries I got were when large dogs took my knees out in the play yard.

Yeah, they're usually in bed by the time I get home, so I see them for a few minutes in the morning. Had last night off which was nice.

My wife calls them Gorilla Shoes.
Injinji socks are the best! No more Dreaded 5-Finger Funk. And I wear them with regular shoes. Pretty much only wear them, Vivobarefoot and Lems now, and Altra on really rocky trails.

You're doing it wrong.
My wife yelled at me for mowing the lawn barefoot, as if somehow my foot is going to slide under the deck.

I was thinking about that pic the other day when I was wearing them. Al was so far ahead of his time.
