Vegas really needs to shed some cap to re-sign Karlsson which no doubt will happen (would love to get him, but I would give it like 0% chance). Two names that keep coming up as trade candidates are Reeves and McNabb. Vegas can take very little cap back, so perhaps you could get them for cheap. Something like Nelson a 3rd and a 6th. Maybe add a 4th line RFA like Larsson, Girgs or ERod. This would free up $4-5m cap for Vegas and add toughness on our D and 4th line. Also, brings a lot of playoff experience.

Also how does one keep Dahlin when his ELC is up?

In this scenario, you shed Bogo for an ELC, you shed Hutton for an ELC, you shed Sheary for an ELC and it's doable.
