Not even sure if it's feasible... but if the Risto to TB rumors have any bit of truth to them, I'd love to see the Sabres try to get Erik Cernak back in the deal. Albeit I only watched him a few times outside of the games vs Buf, but he looks the part of a big, steady mauler that could be the perfect RHD for Dahlin. TB probably wouldn't want to trade a young, high-upside Dman like him but a man can dream, right?

There was a site that listed all the invites, don't remember what it was, but almost any significant name was on it not in the playoffs. At the time, there was an accepted, declined and no response list. Dahlin was on the no response list. Gronborg also said they talked with Dahlin, (on the WGR interview) but didn't get a straight answer as to why he didn't accept. I think he alluded to the fact that he had an extremely long year, with the SHL season, Olympics, draft prep, development camp, training camp and the NHL season.
