Its plays like this that get criticized and people want capital punishment that makes me believe that they just want hitting and physicality abolished from the game entirely. I don't want to see markstrom hurt, or any goalie for that matter, but if you leave the crease and get accidentally run over when the puck is in the open, well, tough luck.

I like old school hockey , keep your head up and don't admire your passes, if you get hit it's on you then , and yes if a goalie goes outside of his protected zone he should be in play , too many times you see the goalie leave the crease and set a subtle pick knowing that he won't be hit
