Fans of @NYRangers rooting hard for @DallasStars tonight - if Stars win, draft pick they sent to Rangers in Zuccarello trade becomes first-round pick, which would give Rangers three in this year's draft. - VANTEL
Three first round picks. that’s how you rebuild. |

Saw Tanev outside of a medical building on Broadway this winter. Honest to god, you could not tell him apart from the guys outside Tim Horton’s begging for change.
I get Vancouver is ultra casual but come on man, you’re a millionaire. |

He is still the 2nd best defenseman on this team, if he wasn't injured so much, he would be more respected.
If they can get a rhd stopgap, this summer, I would be okay moving on, but, his defensive ability is perfect for tŕying to turn Hughes into a top 4 defenseman. |

Hughes needs a steady and reliable d partner that can play 60 plus games. Not a slow broken down glass doll held together by masking tape. Move on from brittle Tanev already |

Re-sign him for another year. He’s perfect in the physical dman role for a rebuilding team. - Nucker101
Yep....and the energy he brings w his play |

I have no issue with them moving on from him, as this team has a bad history of holding on to long to older players.
What I have a concern about is, making sure you have the players in place for the young players to be set up for success. |

Podkolzin will be available at 10 for sure. Thankfully the org doesn’t like Russians so I’m not concerned at all - CanuckDon
Honestly, the only thing I'm down on Podkolzin at 10 is he's not in NA. I really dont like the gamble of him staying or using the KHL as leverage while he's already there.
He has no business being in the top 5 though.

There some big risers from u18, i would think Zegras, Caufield and Newhook all have a shot at going top 10. Broberg will go before 10 IMO. He looked good. - neem55
He definitely grew on me at the U18. I still want a forward at 10 though.
