we didnt 'need' any more c's until half of them went down to injury. plus it give you flexibility to load up lines if needed. i think wennberg is the kind of player benning thought sutter would be when he called him foundational

I agree about going after Wennberg. I think he would add a good playmaker addition to Van's middle 6. Sutter and throw in Spooner. CLB will need able bodies next season if everyone leaves.
