I liked Gillis in his early years . I really disliked the carnage he left behind. People forget in his last year they were chanting at the games "Fire Gillis "

You can never have too many centres, some of them can play wing.

we didnt 'need' any more c's until half of them went down to injury. plus it give you flexibility to load up lines if needed. i think wennberg is the kind of player benning thought sutter would be when he called him foundational

Wennberg is a tiny skill player. So not, nothing like Sutter. He’s not great at defending. Maybe could be a Lw though. Tonnes pf playmaking ability that we ciyld use for sure. Dont hate the idea if he could convert.
