I think going to OT works against the Blues. Billington is getting no work, so that allowed some rust or allowing him to not get into a rhythm. Keep your foot on the gas blues.

Its a shame because Embiid obviously has the talent but I feel like he has missed as many games as he has played in his career.

Whoever said Bouwmeester is like a taller Andrew MacDonald isn’t paying attention. Jay-B doesn’t put up the offensive numbers anymore and he was never overly physical but he’s solid in his own end and is aggressive on the puck carrier. Jay Bouwmeester sees a lot of heavy minutes.

The Blues (most noticeably the top line) is fantastic at supporting the cup carrier. Just one Dallas thinks they’ve caused a turnover, a Blues player swoops on in and picks up the loose puck.

statistically they are virtually the same player with Bouwmeester actually having worse possession metrics but slightly more points. I don't watch the Blues so i cant speak for the eye test but i wouldn't really want either of them on my team at this point in their careers.

yeah the Blues have a really solid defense and they dont rely on Bouwmeester like the Flyers do with Amac. he can just be what he is at this point and they know what they are getting out of him. he doesn't have to play the "mentor" role on a pairing with a young defenseman either which keeps his minutes fairly reasonable i would assume.
