Did you see Kopitar's goal playing for Slovenia the other day? He absolutely torched whatever trash hockey country they were playing |

He had 60 points this year. He's only had 1 season where he finished with less than 60 points. (2012-13 lockout shortened season excluded.) |

So he's pretty consistent. That entire team was awful this year. |

Everyone that’s close to the oilers (writers, broadcasters, etc) all say they need bottom 6 players...we got a whole bunch of those! They neeeeeed to get this 8 pick from them!
If you think about it, there is so much pressure to make the playoffs up there that they should be willing to trade that pick instead of waiting for 3 years for someone to step in. And they really have nothing of value to trade other then that pick |

We need Tony for a question I got. Why do all the french canadians who go down to FL wear speedos and thongs. No matter if they are in good shape or shaped like a potato - mdw7413
You need ME for that???
My guess is that it's because French Canadians want to believe they are more European than Canadian! |

Screw Brooks, I dont want Panarin, lets not fall back into that hole again. We are rebuilding not contending. Rebuilding teams dont go out and sign a soon to be 28 yo. In three years when the Rangers will be in contention again he will be 31 and it seems in the NHL, players start to age quickly after 30. There are few exceptions of course. Lets stay the course rebuild thru the draft, load up the farm system. We had 2 years of losing. Thats not too bad. One more year of losing will not kill us. Getting Panarin will not push us over the top, just push us to a later first round pick! We will be a pretty exciting team next year without him. When we really are contenders in 2 to 3 years, then we look to add the Panarins of the world, but they will be 26 or 27 then, not 31. |

I think winning the two pick accelerated things for them, otherwise I’d agree. They’ll be striking this summer |
