Does anyone actually like ginger ale? I mean other than people in nursing homes. - mdw7413
If they made ginger ale with good caffeine in it, I'd be all over it. It's sort of like how I like Sprite, but why drink it when it doesn't wake you up. Mt Dew/Code Red isn't the best tasting sodas you can get (nothing can beat a just above freezing coke), but it sure gets the job done. |

Now soda I absolutely love. I never keep it in the house though. I keep seltzer which has only natural flavors in it. I love carbonation. - JRR1285
My wife and kid love seltzer too. The only carbonated water I like has hops in it. I know they're estrogenic, but it tastes so good.
Have you tried the Zevia soda? Wife and kid guzzle it. |

Yeah, i only on the weekend drink 1 cup or like a large when i pick coffee up in the morning. The odd thing is, sometimes I can just fall asleep after drinking coffee. I've been like that since I was a teenager.
You might want to try Stok cold brew. In stores it's about 4 bucks for a quart and I usually get 3-4 cups out of that. It's really smooth too so I don't have to put anything in it. Even the sweetened ones (I really like the chocolate flavor) only has about 40 calories a serving. - 2sticks1puck
I have a grinder and French press. I usually add cacao and raw honey to my coffee. Sometimes cinnamon too. I'll check out the Stok.
We made a cold brew porter a few years ago that was fantastic. |

I love ginger, usually put it in the secondary when I make kombucha. Back when I drank liquor I liked Jack and ginger. |

Be careful, a little goes a long way.
I'm meeting some guys I used to work with for Chinese today. Once a year won't kill me, but I am going to feel like poop after. It's a good reminder of why I don't eat like that. |

Do you like Ginger beer? I don't drink ginger ale on the reg, but I love the flavor. A good moscow mule is great on a summer evening. - 2sticks1puck
I had the Left Hand Good Juju, kinda liked it.
Had a sip of my friend's mule and it wasn't bad, cuts the chemical taste of ginger ale. |

Not crazy about the chemical process used to process Stevia, but the sodas are much cleaner than the regular crap. I just can't drink soda anymore, tastes like burning and way too sweet.
Definitely try it. |

the money per year is not really my issue, it's the length of contract
he's gonna require a NMC, which means they'll have to protect him in expansion draft
there's a lot of things I am weary of signing Karlsson to long term big bucks - jimbro83
Exactly. Karlsson would be singing a 7 year deal, Subban only has 3 years left. |

Will he ever have two healthy legs again? Offensively, been solid with 12 assists this postseason, defensively, yucch. Plus, Burns handles the brunt of the heavy lifting from the blue line. - airjan23
Here’s the thing tho...you can say any potential UFA has some sorta risk to them, no matter who it is. Everyone wanted Tavares last year, you know what tho? He had some risk. He’s hurt now lol. Not being dycky about it, just pointing out at some point every UFA will have some risk. So it’s either take the risk or never sign UFAs. In Karlssons case, he’s played through whatever injuries he had (Not counting the Cooke / Achilles thing because no one can play through that). All I know is this player has led by example on numerous occasions now, and playing through injury is one of those things leaders do. And I want someone like that to show 18-19-20-21 yr olds the way to play the game. We’ll have like 7-8 of them on our team as soon as next season. I’d pay a player 5 mill for that alone, leading. We need a captain and he’s the perfect fit for that, and then you get his all world offensive abilities, like passing, to set up the young talent and snipers about to hit broadway.
Worst case is you play him limited or sheltered minutes, keep him fresh for playoff runs and unleash him then. You also play him with a more defensive minded partner
My whole point is, if I’m taking a risk on a UFA, let it be him then someone else, because he’s proved many things over the years and one of them is playing through a host of injuries. Also, does anyone not see risk in signing Panarin? I do but I don’t worry about it and say no I can’t do that. |

No question EK would make a great C and leader. ADA's game would probably improve with him here. He's been so bad defensively, who would you pair him with? Paying a guy $11,000,000 to play sheltered minutes is crazy. When his foot falls off and has to be bought out, that's going to handcuff us for years. There's always a risk signing a UFA, not sure the bennies outweighs the risk. He's dynamic, looks like a pirate and would love to have him, not sure now is the right time. |
