I'm a Blue Jackets Fan. (when they're not playing the Bruins) Team is built right, play tough. you even have your own Rat (Dubois) Entertaining Series.
I don't think losing Panarin will hurt as much as the experts think.

Just don't turn into Leafers and blame everything on refs and the league

I don't know what got into DuBois in the Boston series. Vs Tampa he was puck hungry, maintaining control & better passing. Vs Boston he seemed to be too focused on chasing hits instead of puck possession, and his passes went to turn overs. Often took himself out of the play.

Losing 3 in a row to end the season after taking a 2-1 game lead really sucks. Plus Rask was just a brick wall. We didn't put enough traffic in front of him.

I don't like, or trust, the DOPS for a long time - and not just as a Jacket fan - they are sometimes indiscriminate in their random enforcement - sometimes not. Take the Malkin incident earlier this year. Swung his stick like a baseball bat, fortunately didn't hit anyone, but only gets one game ??? Logic was "well, no one was hurt . . ."
Andrew Shaw (Canadien) hit Adam McQuaid with a high elbow - no punishment.
And yes, our Dean Kukan caught Backes with a forearm. I expected the refs to make a call, but they didn't.

Texier, Sherwood, Robinson, Gavrikov, Bergstrom, Merzlikins, Tarasov and others. My spelling may not be perfect, but columbus has a bunch of NHL ready types, as well as 9 NHL quality defense men, some of which will be traded. Jarmo knows what is in the system, and it is a lot.

Lots of Dmen for sure, but if those are your better prospects, it would be considered a weak bunch... kind of surprised you didn't mention Andrew Peeke actually, he didn't get traded away, did he?

You have to believe that if Bob, Bread & Duch all leave, this team will have a real hard time making the playoffs next season, right?
