I can definitely see the Pegulas saying "we don't want to re-sign Kane." They take the type of shenanigans he repeatedly pulled very seriously.

I don't think they had much of anything to do with ROR. Botterill made a bad deal when trying to make over the team. That's it

Only 2 teams were interested in paying the bonus
Montreal offered less than StL

Botts hands were tied on that one. If Peggy was willing to bite the bullet on the roster bonus other teams were interested.

People here who at all claim that they know the happenings of anything in the upper organization are laughable.

It's just a therapy session for people to feel better about themselves claiming they could be an NHL GM or something. Then they just go home and continue to be alcoholics which is then also blamed on being a fan of the teams.

God this place is still cancer. No wonder I can take 6-8 month hiatuses and feel great about it.
