The last player to play more than 100 games, and was a second round pick, for the Canucks was Mason Raymond in 2005. Before that it was Chubarov in 1998. As an organization it’s just so pathetic how they’ve drafted or used those picks for quick short term help. That’s gotta stop!
You don’t have to find an Aho every draft, it’s just so rare, but you can find countless examples of guys who contribute on that second level top six scoring. Right now we have none of that from drafting.

I agree, it is a sad the way the club has drafted and traded away potential over a quick fix. And you’re right it does have to stop.
I like golfingsince idea, probably not likely to happen, but the logic makes sense for the Canucks. |
