Carolina traded aging star Eric Staal to the Rangers for a couple second round picks then turned around and traded one of those, along with a third round pick which they also acquired by trading a bunch of nobodies for, to get Teravainen and took on Bickell’s salary.
Why can’t we ever have a management group that understands the value of cap space and acquiring picks?
