I agree they have input, and they probably need a hockey czar. It's just so absurd to me that this forum gets locked on one boogieman as a catch-all for the problems, instead of looking at each situation as an independent event. For years it was Russ Brandon's fault, and with the Sabres it was RORs fault, and now it's KP's turn

It is always going to go to the top.

Being the team President you are going to take a fair share of the blame.

A lot of shady stuff happened underneath them with Whaley, Brandon, Rex, Marrone, Lafontaine etc. even stems into PSE where they just cleaned house of all upper mgmt.

They wanted to take control to know exactly what was going on, which I get. They own the teams they have that right.
