It's a bind now, the ideal move should have come on deadline day when they were at best pretenders. With panarin off the market, they could have at minimum doubled value on what they gave up for skinner, probably way more.

Then you could make multiple deals like the Montour one to address different areas of depth.

I've said it before, I'm not trying to pick a fight.

I'm sure there's SOME validity to what you're saying, but for me, personally, I can't believe they're dictating ALL these personnel moves.

The Buffalo News (with Bucky, Harrington, Sullivan, etc) would have picked up on at least half of these, in my opinion, because there is/was not a bigger collection of negative journalists in sports (save for NYC). They're ALWAYS looking for a way to tear these organizations (Bills, Sabres) down.
