These are false rumors...people love putting rumors out there on the internet. Don't believe everything you read

I can't (frank)ing wait.

I hope he is a Laine type player. Laine is a bit bigger though.

It might involve them getting swept.

For real though I actually am worried. Barry Melrose was talking about it on Sportscenter this morning that Kakko could go 1. We are building up all this hype to get him. While I would love Hughes it would be a bit deflating if the Devils said Kakko's name

you mocking Karlsson's abilities and making him out to be "another Shattenkirk" are just as bad as the guy's who say "well take away his two Norris trophies" when you express concern about his ability to stay healthy as he gets into his 30's.

Not everything is so extreme, there is some black and white on this issue

the fact is that Erik Karlsson is a hell of a hockey player, first ballot hall of famer.

the problem with giving him 11 million a year isn't that he isn't good enough to get it, it's that in a cap world, if you are giving one player around 8% of your cap and he keeps getting injured and missing 30+ games a year you are (frank)ed.

I know and I feel exactly the same.

But I think us being upset about getting Hughes would be pretty dumb. Hughes has elite speed and can play the game fast all around. He might not be a generational player but he apparently has the tools to be the #1 center a team needs.

Sid is the only generational center to win the cup recently, a bunch of other elite centers have won the cup the rest of the time. Ovechkin is the other generational player to win the cup, one time.

I think either way we are in a can't miss spot, and I agree I would prefer Kakko. Once either is signed I will be going to DHgate to get either Jersey for my son and probably myself

Sorry but that is reserved for Ovechkin. Need him to complete the Russian dynasty that is being built here.

McDavid is on a tire fire of a team. He is on what his 5th coach and 3rd GM and he has been to the playoffs 1 time so that tells us not every team can follow the Pittsburgh model
