Have to be able to make shots. If he's not getting to the rim, he can't score. How is this guy not in the gym 8 hours a day taking 2000 jump shots?
Noel swing and a miss
Okafor swing and a miss
Fultz laughable - PLindbergh31
The most worrisome part is he reportedly is in the gym a lot. Especially working on his free throws. |

Ben Simmons is a joke. - ClaudeFather
Last night can’t solely be pinned on Ben. He played hard, unfortunately got into some foul trouble. Then again, that offensive foul on him was absolutely absurd. Lowry went for his leg(s). That (frank)er got every single call his way all series. But how many wide open 3s did Harris miss? How many possessions did Embiid hang on the 3 point line? Those 3 straight possessions without a shot is on everybody. whole team stood around watching. |

So he's going to be a dude in this NBA who can't shoot? Seems less than ideal.
Embiid is 7+ feet tall, and 275 pounds, why is he constantly playing on the perimeter? Get your ass down in the post and dominate. |

I don't think he took a shot under 10 minutes in the fourth Q. They will never go anywhere if he can't learn how to shoot, he was a passive bystander last night in the biggest game of the year. |

Ball needs to be in Ben's hands and he needs to drive to the basket instead of this perimeter bs. Embiid needs to be down low for the rebounds. It's not rocket science.
I really like Brett Brown but this almost entirely falls on his coaching. |

I watched some of his games while at LSU and he seemed to defer to a couple other guys on the team, at the time I thought he was disinterested and gave him a pass because he knew he was going to the NBA but looking at his body of work he's had a handful of playoff games now where he does the same thing and is invisible. I believe it was earlier this post season or last when he what zero or 2 points total. Completely unacceptable. |

Yea Simmons is basically Rodman lite.
Embiid while I agree needs to be down on the post more is terrible passing out of a double team. He gets himself in a lot of trouble. |

It just shocks me that a guy as talented as him doesn't push himself in games and take the shots he's given. It would open up the rest of his game soooooo much. He's essentially a completely one dimensional super star. |

It really is baffling, regular season superstar. He does himself no favors. |

Where did Mononoke go? Is he doing the prospect stuff on hfboards? Is he the same username? - Just5
Like last year when everyone and their grandmother called Farabee being drafted by the Flyers and he celebrated like nobody knew what they were going to do except him.
“I called it! I know how this team drafts!!” I was embarrassed for him. |

I disagree with both points. Simmonds and Rodman aren't anything alike. Embiid does a solid job passing out of a double team when he is down low. |
