Also... Buccigross said we make the playoffs with this hire. I was extremely skeptical about this hire and the whole soccer thing but mannn... from McKenzie to Dreger to Custance, to well ANYONE i follow on Twitter hockey related... they all LOVE this hire. I haven't heard one actual hockey correspondent say negative about it.

Just our own hockey gurus and experts here on HB seem to have a problem with it.

Speaking of which.... I watched that Ted Bundy movie with Efron Extremely Violent, whatever..... that was a pretty darn good flick. It actually had me doubting if Bundy actually did it.

That's my biggest problem with it, as someone who likes true crime. There is zero doubt that Ted Bundy committed the crimes. The movie was trying to present it from the GFs prospective, and explore how she could have been oblivious to his actions, and how she stayed with him so long. So the director was trying to manipulate the audience like Bundy manipulated everyone around him. But make no mistake, he did those things.

Just a precaution. They all loved the Housely hire too IIRC Said he was one of the bright minds of hockey.

I wouldn't say it glorifies him... it is actually done in the girlfriend's POV so the movie is supposed to show just how charming and "normal" he was. That is the greatness of the movie in that it shows just how normal and how easily someone so dark can blend in with any one else.

Meh. Market will dictate changes. I think everyone is trying to reposition themselves to make people have to at the very least get a $35 sling type subscription. Lucky for me I don't watch TV.

None of that is even happening until the end of 2019 and Netflix has an option to keep ATT Warner for another year after that as well.

The Disney/Marvel stuff will hurt them but they have a lot of their own very good content too. I watched Apostle and The Ritual in the last 2 weeks and those were both very f'n good mind f*ck movies.

Yeah you always take it with a grain of salt. At least Kreuger has vast experience managing professional athletes. Phil was up and coming, but he was an unknown as far as how he could manage pros. Hint: He couldn't.
