There have been numerous players that have fallen in the draft because of their size. Some turn into Debrincat, you were right about him.

However, looking back at 2014. There were three guys who were considered (potentially) either "too weak or too small" for the NHL, valued in the top 10 or just outside. One was Sam "No pullups" Bennett, then Julius Honka and the other was Kevin Fiala.

None of the 3 are complete busts. Fiala is having the best career of the bunch. Honka is not very good. Bennett is the 3C there? Either way, in that draft, the smaller players did not show well in the NHL. Keep in mind with Bennett he had 91 pts in 57 games in the O one season, then 24 pts in 11 games the next.


There are examples both ways.

Edit: To answer your question, yes, I worry about Caufields size for a top10 pick. It can be a hinderance. We neeeeeeed to hit on this pick in the worst way. If Cozens is there, I would take him without second guessing whatsoever.

Bold statement. I have yet to hop on the Cozens train, but I used to also be much higher on Zegras than I am now. My needle is moving up on Krebs. I like what he did during the U18s. Funny what happens when you've got a team around you.

chipotle bourbon and the habanero pineapple are both good. they have a good spice to them too. its a thicker sauce.

I have payed a lot of attention to Dach, Krebs, and Cozens as they had been the main guys in the tier after the big 3 since the beginning of the year.

Dach creates way more than Cozens.

Krebs played on an absolutely horrible team.

Cozens just doesn't excite me a ton.

The Sharks almost traded 9th overall (Timo Meier) and Thomas Hertl for Shattenkirk and Oshie a few years ago. Oshie is a nice player but I’d take Hertl and Meier long term over that deal anyday of the week.

He was bad before the injury. Im talking about the first two months they acquired him. That year he played 82 games, he was good for about 30

Exactly, the "NHL ready" return value is never there. Same with Oilers 4th overall and shattenkirk

After watching his Hlinka Tourney, I'd beg to differ.

Zegras, however, would be a great addition as well I think. Not sold on Krebs yet. His fancy stats look purty though.
