Thought about it, but it's a no from me.

Rather do Risto and a 2nd for Bill straight up. Not a bad idea though.

- RhinoFan

Vegas is going to want to move salary

To make this trade I would take Miller back and even send them Nylander

Cap wise it needs to make more sense for VGK though.
- Feds91Stammer

Almost rather hold some salary on Risto, but that's a dangerous game. I hadn't looked at cap central for them, good call.

Tiger and his companion are being sued for letting an alcoholic bartender from their restaurant drive drunk and kill himself, while the couple were out of the country.

- TheSabresTaco

It is a garbage lawsuit for sure.

no, no. It's ever. Not a single person has ever signed a contract to play for a Buffalo sports team.

Bill would be a great fit. I get the sentiment.

I'm higher than everyone but Gerbe on Nylander. I still think this kid has what his brother has, the light switch needs to be flipped. Call me crazy, it's a little crazy I know.

I consider Tiger to be a pos, but yeah, it's totally bogus, and I wish it weren't.

Sold

But there would have to be other pending moves for the Sabres like moving out Okposo's contract and having a plan to get a 2nd pairing defensemen

I don't want to get all XBox like because we know 5 moves in the offseason won't happen but I think Botterill knows his seat is warming up and he has to make this team substantially better soon

- Stripes77

Minor salary retention and an okayish asset and ship him to OTT?

I saw that.

Did you see how much they are suing him for? $15,000

That's it.

I bet he pays that for this to go away

It sucks, they (the plaintiffs) say their child had a known drinking problem and the staff at the Woods kept serving him.

While I understand the law here, what happened to personal accountability?

It's a double edged sword. Who knows what the deceased bartender said during his time at the restaurant?

Maybe he said he was getting an Uber home?

But in a lawsuit they're always going to go after the people with money because you can't get blood from a stone.

Waiting for the news for Vlad Sobotka to return to Czechia. Then we'll have a trifecta of players dumping themselves into the garbage bin.

Until Nylander starts going to the dirty areas he is going to be a bust IMO

He has so much talent but doesn't have the heart IMO

Millennial World happened.

They either hire a lawyer that pushes the plaintiffs into the (frank)ing earth, or he settles for 10G for funeral expenses in the case that he liked the employee and calls it a day.

My guess is Tiger settles out of court

He is on his redemption tour, no sense bringing negative light on him.

NYS (i know this didnt happen in NYS) established laws related to this before the Millennial generation existed. The ones who are over-serving alcohol are responsible for the results related to their actions. The bartender is altering the patrons' ability to make good decisions, so they can be held liable if they over-serve to a dangerous degree. Over-serving is illegal for this very reason.

They knew this employee, and knew that he drove, and continued to serve him

Otherwise you hold on to him too long and your best bet is to swap busts for a "fresh start" and "change of scenery"
