Nope. You didn't and now your going after me personally, this is literally so old. But that's cool, this is what you always do. - aminnes
I did and if you think I didn't then proof that reading is hard.

Doesn't matter, Bruins will be in the finals, Marchand will cut a guy open for 40 stitches next game and the guy bleeding will get a major. - winsix
He shouldn’t have been bleeding there |

He's not there to be a grinder, he is an exceptionally talented player that seriously underperformed this year. Why - who knows? Some of it is on him for sure a 5.4% shooting percentage is pathetic, the 27 points in 54 games is awful. In his defense - the way he was used could be easily second guessed. He had two very good years previously, he's talented with great speed and skill, worth giving him a chance to flourish on this lineup. Do the Leafs need to add some toughness - I believe so, but it really has nothing to do with the top skilled guys on the team. - winsix
How many guys can they have like this? And how will the depth look with that cap situation, the d as well? That's the conundrum. Let's say he comes out gangbusters next year. Great. But without his scoring they have plenty of scoring. So what about the other areas of the team that are far more pressing than another skilled winger making 7 million a year.?
Side note. Of the remaining 4 teams, none have anyone making over 8 million a season. |

Right?! It's like Tavares headbutting the shaft of Chara's stick. It's just foolish. |

As much as I blow Nylander, I did think he looked a little doughy when he came back. But jumping into the middle of the season is pretty tough though for sure.
I just think the Leafs should err on the side of developing guys and not ditch talent for some youthful stupidity like Chia did so many times. - Zezel
Yeah I agree with alot of the criticism directed his way this year. I just can’t stand that people feel the need to rehash it everyday. |

Same narrative from the same people pretty much all day everyday. If they’re not haters then they’re trolls.
Either way it’s become a joke. - shack67

It’s not the Willy fans who start this everyday. We’re usually the ones on the defensive. |

Saw your post in the Bruins thread. Their special teams is so good. If they break even at 5 on 5 you’re not beating them. - RickJames77
The only way they don't win this year is if the special teams go cold, or Rask does.
I don't see either happening. |

Ya for sure. Its hockey, but not the highest level.
I dont care for the tourney myself, hate that its on during the SCP and mem cup. - Fakepartofme
There are many who would disagree.
Just because you don’t find it interesting don’t put down a great tournament. |

I dunno man, Risto has a lot of potential, only 2 years older, is a Dman, and is 1.5+ less than Nylander.
And they need a replacement for Gardiner.

Yes, it wasn't the exact midway point of the 82 game National Hockey League regular season schedule, indeed. That would have been game 41. |

I’ll take that after the stops he’s made. If you’ve watched every minute of the Bs in this playoffs he’s been nuts.
Speaking of nuts, I just ate Thai food and went to the bathroom

I bet if you really try you can figure out why the veteran teams like the Bruins Sharks and the Blues don’t have anybody making over 8 million.
Go ahead I’ll wait. |

It would be dumb to trade Nylander, imagine if Colorado traded MacKinnon after he only put up 38 points in his 2nd season. |

Or why Aho is not yet making 8 million on the Canes. Kind of the inverse reason why the vet teams don't have anyone making that much.

If we trade Nylander then Matthews is next up for the irrational hate. |
