This is more of a political space but this Gaza thing. I knew the Israelis would rage but it has to stop soon right? I can't believe international pressure couldn't get the Oct 7th hostages released and the Israelis to stop the terror.

Now Lebanon, next will be Iran.

War crimes, ethnic cleansing, genocide... don't think Israel/Bibi wants to stop.

Considering everyone in the region wants Israel destroyed, I think they're entitled. At some point you need to bow to the inevitable and realize that Israel isn't going away and poking the bear eventually is going to get you shredded to pieces. You can argue what they're doing to Gaza is far too harsh, but when you have an entire population of people that want nothing more than to wipe Israel from the map, you have two options: Fight to the death or let last Oct 7th happen again and again.

Yeah, I'm not going to get into the "right or wrong" of this situation but everyone knew how Israel was going to react to Oct 7th, no one should be surprised. So all sides in his conflict got exactly what they wanted and the childern of Gaza are paying the price.

I'm starting to notice CNN and other left media going after Harris for lies about Trump and many other claims she's made. CNN multiple times now.

They are paving the way for a shift from their Ukraine proxy war to direct war on Iran. They will throw Harris under the bus for Trump's Israel 1st foreign policy.

- boonerbuck

If Trump wins and the Ukraine war immediately ends, you know the fix was in.

What could go wrong having a concert beside the refugee camp filled with people that Israel destroyed and stole their land. Especially after Jordan warned them something was planned.

Trump could end the American open checkbook but that doesn't mean the war immediately ends.

I think one of Israel's goals is to make Gaza unoccupiable.

I was reading articles on what’s happening to the air, soil, and water table in Gaza. They say the amount of toxic dust (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) that now coats everything will have repercussion for generations (predominantly cancer, liver and kidney deceases). Very similar to what happened to the cleanup crews now from the 911 twin tower collapse. Crazy shit.

A reverse of the facts here. It's not the Palistinians who have marched hundreds of thousands at a time out of one region they've lived in for centuries and into open air camps like Gaza.... followed by populating the region with people from Europe and the USA... and slaughtering civilians by the tens of thousands who show any pushback.

Again, it's there, not going away. Regardless of how it appeared ipso facto it's a nation that has the right to exist. Like they said in STNG by the Borg: Resistance is futile.

Israel regularly cuts off water supply to Palestinian territories or redirecting it to their occupied sectors leaving them with nothing. They block food and medical supplies. Kill media who report the facts on the ground....

All the same genocide tactics Europeans used to clear first nations in America are being deployed in Palestine right down to the media campaign to paint the far right Zionists in Israel as the victims("the Indians don't want peace, they hate us")... as you can see by some posts in this thread, it has been very successful.

To be fair, that wasn't the Israelis either. Gaza was created in 1906 by the Brits and what was left of the Ottoman Empire. I think the first modern Aliyah was 1917 (Balfour Declaration). But agree, after 1917, the push was on.

They, and their supporters like you don't seem to think the Palestinian people have a right to exist or this bullpoop excuse wouldn't be expressed in such a one sided ignorant manner.

March hundreds of thousands out of their homes and into a place like Gaza and then play the "They don't want peace, they want to destroy us" card... you've been terribly manipulated.

Again, poopty deal, no question, but calling for the destruction of a nation that's already been established is stupid. There's room for two countries in that strip by the Jordan river, but one 'supposed' country wants to wipe out the other, so that makes negotiating for a fair and just territory that gives the Palestinians what they want hard.

I never said anything about when or who created Gaza. I'm talking about how it ended up being the most crowded hopeless place on earth. You are right of course...

Yup, Israel has been very successful in their actions and I believe they feel very comfortable with their decisions. Saying that, no one's said they can't do what they've done and keep doing. Hell, most nations with any kind of influence have even supported it financially and politically. Even neighbors like Egypt and Jordan have turned a blind eye. Sucks to be a Palestinian.

One wants to wipe out the other? So it's not the nation tearing people from their homes by the hundreds of thousands, annexing their land, bombing them with 2000 pound bombs in an open air refugee camp, Killing endless thousands over decades in massively disproportionate acts of retaliation, not the ones denying them food, water and medical supplies... not the ones demolishing the homes of parents of militants and giving them the boot... regardless if they support or not(actual policy)... or denying them right to travel from one sector to another, keeping them unemployed and unable to feed their families. Seeing people take this stand to defend a far right, racially motivated Apartheid state just boggles the mind.

This position is the most contradicting in all of geo politics and you've eaten it up and asked for more.

I've been to Israel twice. Spent a lot of time in that country. Talked to many Israelis. I understand your perspective.

Saying that, many Jews that leave Israel, leave because of the Zionist-first government and their supporters. Zionists/Nationalists have a very MAGA-like attitude. It's an intense atmosphere over there.

Considering nearly 6 million were exterminated by the Euro-centric fascists it's not hard to understand why. Long memories take time to fade and when you have enemies on all sides, you can understand why they end up hardliners towards anyone that threatens them.

Again, not saying it's right, not saying the Palestinians deserve what's happened to them, the problem is that they won't give up the ones that pushed them into this or release the hostages (if they're even still alive by this point since it's been over a year and Israel's just about destroyed everything in Gaza at this point.
