I think mine, at least on this site, is more in jest most of the time and it's more along the hockey side of things.

Like I said, I get that you don't like Trump, I've said many times on here that the man is a fool, he just spews nonsense continually. That being said, I don't argue with or against everything he says, I agree with some of their America first policies, but their actions implementation of them or delivery is often lacking.

Sometimes it would be nice to just hear you say, I get it, they're somewhat disingenuous but they're trying to secure their borders instead of just fighting tooth and nail against anything and everything Trump...I won't hold my breath.

Show me a post where I said I absolutely love everything Trump. I've stated many times I like their America first policies, but their delivery is often terrible. I mean, honestly, if Canada had more past and present governments who put Canada first, in instances like this they could just tell the US to go (frank) themselves.

Trump can bluff all he wants but there's no quick way around this, a lot of Mid West refineries run upwards of 90% Alberta crude. They can't mitigate this easily, just like Canada can't build pipelines East and West, or LNG projects at the drop of a hat, these projects take years to build.

US crude imports. They actually export as much crude to Canada as they import from Canada but all crudes are not the same.

His underlying objective, outside of all the fluff, in my opinion, is perceived American security, global power and exploitations of Canadian resources.

He/they doesn't want China to have control of the Panama canal (security) and Greenland was a strategic landmass for WWII. The Canadian northern waters will be passable in the coming years, I've read that has something to do with it as well. I only know what I read and take it all with a grain of salt. I'm just a little man in the grand scheme, just trying to retire and take care of my family while watching my childhood hockey team try and win a Stanley Cup. My life is very simplistic compared to all these cloak-and-dagger politics.
