It's a great game and because there were so many neighbourhood public courts, lots of my friends played as well. Badmiton nets in the backyard too. I learned to swear at an early age.

Yeah, aside from any health concerns then there's staying home for a month and getting everything delivered while being on a reduced income. I was fairly confident it was just a cold but you never know so your mind starts working overtime for sure.

Yeah I saw that. It gets much more difficult to contact trace when people are moving around like that. Here most of the cases are related to travel to the US, if not all of them. Essential workers, mostly truckers I believe.

On Friday, two new COVID-19 test positive cases were announced for Island Health. The new cases include one returning international traveler and other linked to a confirmed COVID case. This brings our total active cases with Island Health to four people who are self-isolating at home. Once again, each of us are reminded to avoid closed spaces, crowds and close contact with others. Our individual actions make a difference and we must continue to practice all the good behaviours we have learned since the beginning of the pandemic.
