Refs missed that one. Sucks that a good game has to end that way. - DarthKane
all 8 zebra eyes missed that..wow...another black eye for nhl officiating.
i can see how the back ref missed it he is blind to the play from the back weak side but the other 3...

I don’t like the Blues any more than the next guy but this whole playoff has been riddled with bad officiating. |

I agree, hahaha, but I'm going to give it a second chance. |

I love watching Couture. He's incredible come playoffs. - I Am The Breadman
If he keeps this up, and the Sharks lose to Boston in 7 games, does he win the Conn Smythe? |

Everything just keeps going the Sharks way. The stars are aligning for them. It's their year. |

I've seen the replay of "the hand pass" about a dozen times. i thought it looked like it hit Boumeisters' left shin. He even looked like he tried to sort of kick at it. If it did hit his shin, anyone know what that does to weather or not it still should have been blown dead or not?? Thanks - BobP.
it was very close but i think the puck just missed boumeisters skate and leg...
the refs might use that in their defense...if it hit him the hand pass is nullified

oh boy...big time problem ending to sharks-blows...
refs miss the hand pass...sharks score...and win in OT
that play is not reviewable...yikes...blows and their fans not happy - bogiedoc
The NHL needs to make some changes on what is reviewable and what isn't; especially in the playoffs. I want the Sharks in this one but I feel a little sorry for the Blues tonight, and I really don't like feeling that way for them. |

Thanks! i thought that might be the case. i don't know, i thought it looked to change direction slightly as it went by him. Haven't seen a camera angle that clearly shows weather it did or not. But i'm still inclined to think it grazed him about 6" below his knee. Mute point at this juncture i guess. |

Personally, I would enjoy it more if the Blues made it to the finals before losing again. The St Louis tears would be more sweet and delicious in the Final. |

Bo Horvat and a first - LAHawk
I’m a fan of Horvat but I wouldn’t do that deal. Maybe Saad and Krys for Horvat. |

That would be great if it were just about anyone other than the Bruins playing them. |

Can't stand the Blues either and always want them to lose. But, not like this. Shameful officiating.

Ogi, you make me laugh to myself. Share your zeal, buddy. The bad news? The Blues will now win the series, and the calls made will go against the Sharks. Human nature. Wait for it! If St. Louis can't beat this geriatric band of has-beens, they should dissolve the franchise and move them to Quebec or Houston. Go Sharks!!!

So assuming we have a deal in place to Move AA on the 1st, would you go hard after a guy you really like or would you wait and see who doesn't get the offers they want?
I tend to think we should wait? Let the top tier guys find homes and use up there cap space. then let 2-3 of the 10 or so mid tier guys sign for 15% over value and then pick thru what is left? I just think there are so many 27-28 forwards and with teams generally so focused on extending there own ELC guys long term allot of the mid tier guys are not going to get the offers they think they deserve. IE better to wait it out and miss out then overpay. in my example Hayes and Dzingel will probably ask for $6 + mil and 5-7 years. but on July 3rd you might get Hayes 5 X 4 or dzingel 4 X 4. Maybe Duch for 7 X 5. Nyquist 5 X 4. Something along those lines.
Some guys are going to get paid but with some many good UFA (forwards and Centers) is there enough money to go around. and from places these guys want to play. OTT has money. Buff? Columbus? |

After a good nights rest I've decided it couldn't have happened to a better team. Boy are they singing the Blues in St. Louis. |

You also would run the risk of being left with guys like Ward, Manning and Kunitz. |
