I feel shame.

Don't.

You're like my favorite Bruins fan.

No one comes even close.

Well maybe Fountain but that's because he's so big, he's close to everybody.

I'd sign Kap to 4.227M x 3 years.

I think he's going to do very well this season and I think he knows that too. This gives him the opportunity to sign a much larger contract after the 4th year of the contract. I bet the Leafs sign him to this or trade him away.

If I'm confident that he's top 6 talent then I try to shoot for 6M x 6 years, but he's RFA and I think trading the Hawks #1 next year is to risky (if things go wrong. See 2019 Sens).

- RedRevenge

that number would make things a bit stickier for the Leafs but If Kap signed it for 3 years I am sure they match that.

once you start getting into 1st rd pick territory thats tempting.. a 2020 unprotected 1st from Chi ..could be a high pick

Some Leafs fans have been blaming the refs since 93.

It's just a coping mechanism.

They would rather blame the referees than realize their own team needs improvement.

- JohnFergusonJr

I'd be offended or pissed off by this comment - if I thought for a second it wasn't a poorly veiled troll job.

Did St.Louis get screwed by the officials in the game against the Sharks?
Did the Leafs get screwed by Kerry Fraser in the game against the Kings?

has nothing to do with the perceived failings of the team's weaknesses. I don't need to blame Fraser for that.. its pretty self evident.

using your analysis. Leaf fans should be blaming Gilmour's chin for getting in the way of Gretzky's stick

Weird how the playoffs just immediately ended after the Kings beat the Leafs.. I wonder if they'll ever name a Cup winner from that year..

Are you referring to the crosscheck to the head of Muzzin in Game 6, that was somewhat similar to what Kadri did?

If so, then yes you are right.

2019 Cup Champs baby.. #LetsGoBruins

- PatC80

yup - cross check to the head... Kadri suspended... Kuraly.... can't remember what happened?

Don't be silly.

The only time that happened was 2011.

Yeah, that was bad.. It's the Bruins, we all know the refs favour them... Right RJ?

They don’t not receive a check from the Jacobs’ family every other week.

Please.

We all know who won in 2011.

The refs.

So what UG has been trying to say this whole time is to win you need to play like the 2011 Boston Bruins BUT while paying the zebras. Makes more sense now.

So glad I was only 2 at the time. You know how some people will say “oh you did that or have been there, but you just don’t remember it”?

Then no I haven’t been there or done that. If I don’t remember it it basically didn’t happen. It’s like that with the ‘93 Habs.

The Habs have never won a cup.

Just let me live the way I want, ok?

Same applies for when I drink too much. If I don’t remember it, it didn’t happen. What blackout Ahjay does is none of my business

No, I mean the season.

Yes, the team is allowed to exceed the cap by 10% during the Offseason, but on the first day of the season, the team must be at or under the cap. The 2nd day of the season, they are allowed to put players on LTIR (Horton)

Therefore, they need to be under the cap with Horton on the first day of the season. This was a problem that the Hawks ran into and fixed by trading Hossa away. That's why I'm well aware of it.

Sign marner, kapanen, or johnsson day 2. Problem solved.

Ok gang. Let's keep it Leafs, Marlies and Raps. Marlies finally back in action tonight. Never checked TSN today to see if game might be on. And the Raps best not take a 4th quarter snozze tonight.
