It's true that Myer's has kind of been the guy who gets the rotating partner. However, he and Kulikov were fairly decent together.

The way Beaulieu played, and the potential emergence of Poolman next season will ease the pain of losing Myers or Trouba. As a Jet fan, I hope it's only one of them that goes.

You are marking this assessment based on 300 minutes, you know that right?

If Trouba isn't going to resign, which seems likely, I hope the Jets resign Myers. He has never played with a solid defensive partner and helped carry the load when Buff and Morrissey were out. If he signed withe the Panthers he should be paired with a solid stay at home d-man as his strength is rushing the puck. Hopefully Maurice gives Poolman a fair chance as between injuries and not being used he is ready to take up any slack the Jets will have on the right side should they lose Trouba and Myers. I still believe that even with the possible addition of Myers the Panthers should use one of their good forwards or prospects to obtain a true first pairing dd-man.
