We’ve had some Brad Marchand’s on our team, haven’t we? Maybe not 100 point players but I think we like those types of players here too. I didn’t like Dan Carcillo at first but I warmed up to him...then I hated him again in New York.

I liked Steve Downie, while most around here didn’t. I felt like he was a better player then most gave him credit. There was nobody I hated more then Max Talbot as a Penguin.

He is, but when you have his skillset plus having him on PP and PK, you just take the good with the bad.

That's tough to say. His stunts won't go over with any ref no matter the team. I guess playing Pittsburgh 4 times a year he'd probably get one doing something to Cindy.

This is how I feel about Crosby. Yes, people hate him and his antics (at least pre-2013), but if he'd led the Flyers to 3 Stanley Cups in 8 years, his jersey would the #1 seller in the area. You don't have to like the guy, but if he helps you win a championship, you live with it.
