The big question for next year is who backs up C2?
Is it Delia? Do we expect Ward back? What other veterans might be available?
Ryan Miller anyone? - Ogilthorpe2
Delia definitely needs to earn it. The shine wore off of him quickly. I like him, but he needs to be ready.
I only want Miller if it means Kane is being moved. |

Bryam or Cozens one of them will be picked by the hawks. It also depends what the rangers do hughes or bryam i say this because i think Jersey takes kappo but i could be wrong. - Scott1977
Then I hope its Byram. Turcotte is a better choice than Cozens. Cozens has Sam Bennett all over him to me. |

No. One year of sub .900 SV% is enough. I will go with a surprise and pick Linocaine. |

As soon as I heard Cozens compared to Kesler, I soured on him. |

MAF went first overall, right? Vasy in 2012 went 19th. Those come to mind immediately who have panned out. - I Am The Breadman
I am not much of a historian I remember Price I was watching it . Also recall Patrick DesRochers who played Jr. around here and went 14th. overall to the Coyotes ,and fell flat . It a crap shoot with goalies really more so then other positions . Yes we have some prospects in net. It always nice to have a Finn in the pipeline . |

Meh. Those are style comparisons. I watched him play. There is something about him that seems missing. |

That's why you rarely use a high first on a goalie. Of course, there are exceptions. I would even argue Price wasn't worth picking there since his numbers and Crawford's are pretty similar. |

I agree with you, just gave some more odd/rare birds who succeeded as first round selections. Goalies are so weird with their developments. |

When you haven’t seen either play it’s hard to have a real opinion one way or the other, but when you hear Cozens compared to Kesler, and Turcotte compared to Toews, it’s hard not to lean towards Turcotte. |

It wasn't meant as a gotcha or anything. Just trying be informative. WJc age rules get confusing with 20 year olds. |

Turcotte is noticeable every time he is on the ice in the games I watched him. One of the concerns around him is he goes all out on every shift, there are some who worry he may become injury prone.
For clarity purpose, I have watched Cozens only 3-4 times. So its a really small sample size but he had some floater in him in the game I saw. |

Bennett was and still may be thin and does not handle physical play. Cozens engages in physical play but also takes time off from playing that way. One can play physical; the other cannot.
I am uncertain though if Cozens is the equal of Bennet's ability |

Knight is 18 years old. I suggest you thinking he might be NHL ready in 2 years is extremely optimistic. Big league shooters can make even the most talented kids wearing the pads lose their confidence.
Look no farther than how long it took Jordan Binnington to make the big leagues and excel. - RickJ
Probably correct. He sounds like he could be ready sooner than the usual amount of time. Rarely does a goaltender not spend some time in farm system and even two years for such a young kid is probably overly optimistic. Even C Price prepped for at least one year AHL if i recall correctly. |

What difference does it make? Either way two teams I despise will be meeting in the Final. I don’t even think I can watch. |
