It would be risky for them to do the offer sheet thing just yet tho imo. Because you figure it’s the 4 firsts amount, I’m not sure Rangers are willing to risk that this soon. Maybe after a couple years of success since you could be losing a lottery pick, definitely next year and maybe two of them possibly. Unless a trade was worked out but so many pieces would go back to TB.

If Dallas resigns Zucc, really we would only be down 3 1sts. I also think after he accepts that if Tampa wasn't going to match, they'd elect to work out a trade first than waiting 4 years. Even if they didn't, we could then probably trade Krieder and get another 1st back. At that point we'd only really be down 2 1sts.

It would really depend where the firsts fell. He did have 92 pts at 23 yrs old. I can’t believe he was a 3rd rd pick

I’d really prefer Kreider be traded at the draft, if they do wanna trade him. Always have the injury risk (which hasn’t bit them in the ass yet btw, but you play with fire waiting like that).
