Correct.

Last time I checked, Seymour and Norty didn't bring a cup to Buffalo either.

- Powerslave

Last I checked Seymour and Norty didnt bring in one of the worst runs in NHL history (the sabres are currently on that)

they did bring us watchable hockey though

- homiedclown

The Knox family got the Sabres to the Stanley Cup finals in 5 years

The Rigas family did it sooner

Tommy G and his cheap pockets gave this city the most exciting hockey it has ever seen

The Pegulas have brought money and nothing more

2 2nd overall picks
1 1st overall picks

3 last place finishes

Yeah I'd say you're correct

Hey now, that is sexist to say.

I dont understand how none of these fine sexist justice warriors didn't defend Houlsey when he was being called Phyllis...Something that is actually sexist.

Man I cannot wait until we are good so Kim can get all the credit for it.

I had no idea we credited Golisano with Darcy’s trades for Briere and Drury

And Riga’s for acquiring Hasek

I guess Kim nabbed Dahlin.

Thanks Kim

Why not just let the hockey czar make the trades?

So, Lafontaine "quit" because he saw the "incompetence" in the organization, but HE'S the one that hired Murray and brought Nolan back, who were part of the "incompetence".

#16 gets a pass, though, right?

OK. 😂

- Powerslave

Pegula hired Lafontaine. Whether or not 16 gets a pass or not the Pegulas run the ship and decide on who they want to hire.

Cup or no Cup, the Sabres were fun and exciting and VERY competetive under their watch most of the time. Let's hope things turn around for this team soon.

Every decision you don't like is made because of a lack of a PoHO, but you're neglecting the negative aspects that come with engrained "brain trusts" like the Oilers

No. Punch Imlach did.

The Rigas's never did give them the "tools to finish the job", though, did they?

And you're giving Golisano credit for Darcy's patience and shrewd trades?

Do you know what the other owners did that the Pegulas don't do?

Stay out of the way

The only thing Tommy G said was to break even.

Galisano and Rigas didn't have anything to do with player personnel. Kim has made personnel decisions.

Darcy was given credit for the Briere and Drury trades. He was also criticized, rightly, when things went wrong.

You know Rigas got arrested right?

I think I’ll take Kim not wanting a douche bag like Kane over almost losing a team but hey, at least Riga’s didn’t serve food and marry into money!

That's not true.

Peters and Marty have said that Galisano told Darcy that Afinogenov had to be on the team because he liked watching him play

Kim can get arrested every other weekend as long as she stays away from the hockey and football departments. Why she isn't simply head of marketing is the head scratcher.

Rigas was a crook. Kim is incompetent. I'd take Kim over Rigas too, doesn't change the former statements though.

I am genuinely asking, lots of posters on here say this same thing but I’ve never heard this from anyone outside this board.
