Tampa isn’t the right spot for Risto. Honestly Toronto is the perfect landing spot for him and I don’t see that happening in a million years.

Why so him and Okposo can take the IR spots

So you can acquire a better player your team for the next decade than you could otherwise.

Any player you want. Every team has players you want and bad contracts they want to rid themselves of. We don’t really have a ton of assets to trade away at fair market value that can return the type of players we all want here. I’m not saying to just do it, but writing it off without consideration seems foolish.

We have another 1st we can move without taking a bad contract back also another way to go. People keep talking about how great all these Tampa players are and they are good players but how good on this Sabres team. You focus on Skinner first and then go from there, 1 step at a time. 23 mill can do some good things using it the right way.

Resign Skinner. Sign Karlsson and Duchene. Profit.

I haven’t specifically said Tampa. Just in general.

I don’t want to trade away our extra first rounder for a 7th rounder in 2025. I would probably add more to it though if someone would take okposo with it. There’s a guy here that has mentioned this repeatedly too.

Duchene would be on this team already if we had a playoff chance but Botterill didn't want to give up assets for nothing and he knew we weren't close by the trade deadline. E Karlsson or William?

Why do you want EK you can see his body is decreasing and his play will decline in 3 years and your stuck with a guy making 11 million a year when his best days are behind him that’s how you (frank) your franchise up
