Benning is going to take whoever is Swedish. - thundachunk
I think this draft is going to be a real wild card. With rankings changing daily it's hard to get a sense of who's there at 10. I'm sure there will be many surprises
I used to have interest in Karlsson but after watching him in this playoffs he is truly one dimensional. He is a huge liability in his own zone and with the defensive awareness of a flea. In fact if we magnified his brain 50000 times and shot it up a fleas ass it would rattle around like a BB in a box car. - thundachunk
He was just a couple of years ago the best D in the world. He's not been the same since his surgery

Depends on who wins the cup. That's the model to follow and draft. If Stl wins. It's OHL players and Sask players. If Boston wins, it's Benning we trust.
That was JB's first draft right. If JB was allowed to pick the player who he was rumoured to have wanted instead of Virtanen which was Larkin (slightly confirmed). Having already drafted a center who would have Van taken with the 24th pick instead? Pastrnak? Larkin and Pastrnak in that first draft would have been (frank)en sweet. Maybe Goldobin Nowhere near as sweet as Larkin and Pastrnak. - manvanfan
I dont know abiut coulda/woulda, but he did pick McCann and he looks like the speedy winger we currently need. Whoopsies!
Please summarize, I'm listening to music.
Thanks, man. - Marwood
He is not looking to do what he use to do (GM Pres.) . He wants a team to buy into his skill that teams won't peak and then plummet . If a team buys into his theory and way they will always be at the peak.
Unlike what happened to Vancouver Chicago and LA his team will always be competitive and in the playoffs.
He says he has always been good at assessing talent.
