I think what he means is if you say you want no players from GB on the Canucks for a reason and said reason is unfounded or incorrect that is a problem.

If you said you want no players from GB because they don't have NHL caliber players that's fine, but if you say you don't want them because they smell bad and beat their wives that would be uncool and/or bigoted

I don't like Don Cherry at all, and have always thought that old bag of bones needs to get the f*ck away from hockey, because he has nothing positive to bring, especially to the youth who are currently playing or wanting to play.

I have vocally said that I want the Canucks and Judd to take someone from the USHL, which most likely means an American. That doesn't make me bigotted towards Canadians or Euro's though, that was my point to Neem.
