There have been at least 8 blatant head shots as debilitating and dangerous as those that got Kadri and MacAvoy suspensions and yet there is not a peep out of the league after the non calls. You have to question the integrity of the league starting with Bettman and the Department of Player Safety when you have 4 players injured with no response.
There should be no whining about the Eakin call because Vegas failed to do what 7,998 teams had done before them in a similar situation and killed the penalty without giving up 4 goals. They had their chances in OT as well. They received breaks from the officials in Game 2 and others. Colorado got breaks that had direct impact on outcomes as well.
The officiating AND the League's lack of response has been a travesty and a disgrace. Think Toronto fans would like to have seen the same treatment of Kadri that the Blues have received and what impact that susension has had on who's the East Champion?

Watch Petro hit couple times looks shoulder to shoulder with follow through driving Pavelski hard into board, of which don't move much in SJ. Lineman standing next to both so got a good look.

Hertl hit was late and high. Don't think it was seen or seen clearly so wasn't called. Non reviewable play.

Also you wont find much sympathy for head or high hits when it comes to SJ. Big Joe being the biggest offender.

He hasn't missed a game in 9 seasons and has scored 70, 92, 82 in the last three seasons.

His contract is a steal for the offense he produces and it's only got 3 seasons left on it, not exactly enough to really handicap anyone if for some reason he does fall off a cliff. I would touch him with any pole [penis joke goes here before you hit submit]
