hahaha my god this organizations looks like complete fools
And before someone says it, yeah man, we all know that we wouldn't have been a championship team this season with ROR and Kane on the team, but those two alone make up a competent second line, Skinner could have still been had, Mittelstadt could have developed proper as the 3rd line center this season, and Rodriguez is our ideal 4th line center.
It is maddening that ownership got so involved that we lost 150 more points for scored this season. That alone would have gotten us into the playoffs, easily.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is just fooling themselves. No different than the people who thought this year was a stealth tank, haha, as if. |

Great take.
Wish he would be a bit more "tough to play against" rather than a completely soft skilled guy.
But it is what it is, other teams have soft forwards that can produce, they figure out a way to make it work. We can too. - RhinoFan
A bunch of ppl here wanna sign Duchene though
Not exactly the same style player
But as far as what to expect in points & physicality...
pretty close comparison |

You aren't at all.
Need more back in that deal...
I think Risto for Cirelli is light on the Bolts side...taking on Callahan means more coming back. Gourde would be nice but that is a stretch to me...Joseph would be who I want from them. If we have to add a mid rounder, fine. - IonSabres
That trade just doesn’t work at all for Tampa though
Not unless they have other trades lined up to dump salary somehow
The trade with us is very close to even $$$ |

They would never have been a championship team with O'Reilly and Kane on the team, this year, next, or ever.
The difference between the Sabres and San Jose/St. Louis is that they already had their core pieces in place. Kane and O'Reilly are guys you add when you're one piece or two away from a championship. You don't add them when you are rebuilding. That was the Sabres (i.e. Murray's mistake). The Sabres are still a better team in the long run with both those guys off it, regardless of what St. Louis does.

He didn't really rush it though. He had until the roster bonus was due. |
