I assumed the blackflies drove you mad.

Nope.. I've bet against them in the first 3 rounds.. I'm not doing that again..

It's all Boston this year.. #GoBruins.

We did it RJ, and UG. We did it.

Only move out willie if kap and aj are signed to good deals and willie brings back a young bonafide D.
Willie could easily get back to scoring 60pts

There probably is still a deal to be made with Carolina.

How much cat poo does one have to actually eat in order to get the cup? I'd like some input from bruins fans.

Hopefully Carolina thinks they have a legit shot and overpay for a leaf.

I personally think they overachieved quite a bit.

I agree - it helped that the metro was a cupcake division this year. What a turd

It says a lot, when the team that beats the division winner in the opening round, sweeps the team that came in second and actually led the division for most of the year and then goes out and gets swept themselves.

Team that sweeps then gets swept. It'll happen once more.

They did, although they have a nice D for the future. Islanders are the team that is screwed imo. So little talent, and so many UFAs.

He’ll never be that big important piece in the Leafs, he could in a different market, and I think that’s what he wants. He likes the attention, he’s cocky. But Toronto demands you prove your cockiness, and I think when the games on the line he doesn’t engage. I know hockey has changed, but watching him NEVER get pissed off is aggravating. When AM gets mad was all say “ohhh I like the pissed off Auston.” Because that poop matters in hockey. Honestly, I’m never going to go back to #TeamWilly. Watching him disrespect the Tre Kronor in the dressing room was the final straw. It confirms my suspicions that he’s a brat.

Barry Trotz is probably the best coach in the league. I still can't believe what he did with that roster.

Because he establishes a culture.

He gets everyone playing for each other.

Babs just bombs his players in the media and makes them do stretch passes.

I honestly think that's a given. After his 1st month this season he was o pace for that with a horrible shooting %.
- RogerRoeper

Nothing is a given in this league....well except horrible reffing, dumb ideas from the nhl, and lame awards.
Also, the 1st 20 games willie had 4pts, so he was on pace for 16pts.
The remaning games, he was on pace for 56 pts.
So ya, a good improvement for sure.

Did he tear it up in the playoffs?

He doesnt need to be the big piece. Just friggin score and create plays.
But yes, he is soft...not always engaged.
But that could change

How much would lou have signed him for? 6.9 salary for a 6.5-6 cap hit?
Did you see the contract he gave marleau?

- Fakepartofme

I don't remember why people are complaining about Nylander's AAV.
It's not bad.
I don't understand either why people are giving Lou flack for Zaitsev and Marleau contracts, but at same time do not recognize that he signed Rielly and Kadri to very good contracts..

issue with Nylander isn't the AAV.
issue with Willie is the AAV in combination with him not being one of Toronto's 3 most important FWs. (Marner-Matthews-Tavares + I could argue for a few others to be more important than him; Hyman + Kadri at least).

His value is less now that he has scored a bunch at the WC

In some way, it might be.

Some Gm’s probably see his production at the WC as a good thing, others will see a guy who’s unhappy with his NHL club and is more suited for the bigger ice.

It’s like CFL vs NFL.. Not a whole lotta guys from NFL work out in the CFL because of the different playing surface, it’s a different game.
