Like in game six Thorton tried to sell Edmundson wrapping him up. Both teams were doing that but Thorton reacts like he is fouled trying to draw a penalty.

There were penalties for sure. Maybe the Babs hit caught the chin, depends on the angle you watch. A certain player stuck his leg out on a few hits but just ask the ladies he doesn't ask permission he just does what he wants.

That Gloria song is ok I guess, but if you close out the sharks I want to hear when the blues go marching in

Not only do you have to beat the Bruins but the refs as well. Reffing in the SJ series is nothing like what you will see now. I really hope the Blues do it. Hopefully the teams gets a fair shake. Good luck and enjoy these special moments.

Crazy part about the song....the story about how it came about really fits this city, team, etc. Local small bar that looks like it could have been plucked right out of dogtown, the hill, etc. I'm sure all cities have places like that but it was an organic thing that really fit.

I don't know about you guys but this is definitely a surreal time. The realization that I get to help give back to my dad for everything he has done for me by taking him to a Stanley Cup Final game is an unreal feeling.

That said, don't you dare change how you've been doing things now. We are, finally, in the finals. We keep doing things the way we've been doing them.

For next year, I appreciate the way you are doing blogs now, you have good insight, but wouldn't mind if you prefer doing more general blogs instead.

congrats to the blues...from the bottom of the league (with the hawks) to the cup finals...very impressive. they have blown away that meme about being out the playoffs on dec 1 means your season is done.

Overcoming that blown call in G4 to win 2 strt in very convincing style...well done.
