First off, the Blues just beat one of the hottest goalies in the league, Vezina Trophy finalist Ben Bishop. He was awesome and extra motivated playing in front of his friends and family in his hometown of St. Louis. That goes to show you that the Blues can beat a hot goalie. Binnington has a higher GAA due to some bad lapses by his defense and some odd bounces, including the hand pass goal. When he is getting that smothering Blues D, he can match Rask. The Blues had stretches against the Jets, Stars and Sharks where the opponent hardly got a shot over LONG stretches. One against the Stars was like 31-4 in shot differential. The other factor mentioned in previous posts is the Blues strong road play. The Blues have gone into hostile places and won big road playoff games. Winnipeg might be the toughest place to win on the road. The Blues are road warriors and their home record is improving, clinching all 3 series at home. This is going to come down to a few things on the Blues end. Can they get to their game and maintain. That game involves great goaltending, shutdown D that prevents easy zone entry, heavy forechecking, an improving power play, clearing the front of the net and rolling 4 strong lines. Those are some of the major things that got the Blues this far. I don't expect that to stop. This team is motivated and relentless. It is going to be a great series, since the Bruins play that kind of hockey as well. Maybe Rask will cool off with over the long break. I don't think the long break helps a goalie.

I am still pinching myself to make sure this is real.

Hockey in St Louis in June! And I am going to be there in person, watching the Blues.

Looks like some ticket shenanigans. Somehow miraculously someone has a block of 15 upper bowl seats (an entire row) listed for sale for the Finals, meaning they are all owned by one party.

It can't be extra STH playoff strips as you were limited in how many you could buy.

Is it realistic to think that one person would take an entire row as season tickets, a row that is in the upper bowl, in the corner, and one of the worst 3rd rows int hat section in the price point? Pretty darn unlikely. Sure smells like the team or the league selling that block way above the gate price to turn a bigger profit.

It will be interesting to see if any of these come back available to purchase to existing STH a day or so before the game.

They have had these for all rounds. I saw that on the first and second rounds and told my brother something fishy was up since 8 tickets was the limit.

If it's a broker several different people could have bought some, them transferred them to one account. That's the only thing that made sense to me.
