Gerbe is spontaneous and stands by his mistakes and smiles with his thoughts when proven correct but doesn't gloat. Buffalo sports fan can handle being beaten by better skill, coaching but I believe it boils down to the humility in how one handles winning a championship, for many of us, can shape our opinions upon our likes/dislikes of other teams. Some posters are more concerned with their own ego of being Hockey Wise, or something about seeing into the future, hating this team, the owners, the previous owners, every player that's ever donned a Sabres jersey. Even if Scott Norwood's kick shifts a few feet to the left in 1990, or Bernie Perrant wasn't absolutely Hasek like in 1975. People around here would simply focus on the three Super Bowls we lost after our first fluke and how that series in the 70's was so long ago turn the story into how a once Great Young hockey team in a small city won the Cup and wallowed in deep misery for the next 44yrs wondering how it all fell apart.

On a side note,

It’s truly a waste when someone says oh my day is ruined because of the “sports team” why should they be in control of ruining your whole day? it’s not like you’re on the team .

So if we go after a Center (by free agency OR trade), then it’s gotta be a “2way” type
I like W.Karlsson from Vegas
Your idea of Cirelli is pretty good too,
but a trade with Tampa will be complicated with their Cap situation

i kinda like Ferland. He can score 20-ish and provide some much needed physical play here

I’d call the Ducks to see if they’re still looking to shake up their roster
Nylander (+ maybe?) for Josh Manson?
Someone solid defensively that’ll cost about half of what Trouba will against the Cap
