Adam Lowry Stats last 3 years:
2016-17
82GP 15G 14A 29Points

2017-18
45GP 8G 13A 21Points

2018-19
78GP 12G 11A 23Points

Most common line-mates over that time: Brendan Tanev, Andrew Copp, Mathieu Perreault and Joel Armia.

Pavel Zacha Stats last 3 years:
2016-17 (Rookie Year)
70GP 8G 16A 24Points

2017-18
69GP 8G 17A 25Points

2018-19
61GP 13G 12A 25Points

Most Common line-mates over that time: Drew Stafford, Jesper Bratt, and Miles Wood.

Do not see much difference with offensive point totals. The 2017-18 year you speak off is an outlier in Lowry's career. Do not understand why you would want to try a 26 year old Adam Lowry as your second line center, when his previous career best was 29 points.

I don’t want Lowry as 2C for his personal offensive production. I want him there because nobody in our top 6 can defend, and he’s a play driving monster. He made Tanev a legit NHLer for a while.

So he is going to drive play for Laine and Conner and somehow not get points?

Uhhh...... Scheifele? The man consistently plays against other teams top players, something that Lowry does not do. He's clearly our best defensive as well as offensive player. Who surprisingly does not get enough love on this board for all that he does.

This Stanley Cup final, I really want you to watch Bergeron, Krejci and O'Reilly. Three centers that not only produce offense but defend. That's the definition of a top 6 forward. Not Adam Lowry, especially for a team that thinks its a legit Stanley Cup contender.

Laurent Brossoit signed for one-year at $1.225 million. He earned the raise, now he has this season to prove it wasn't a fluke. If his stock is up at the trade deadline there may be opportunity to move to a needy team for picks/prospects assuming the jets have other options for 2G.

Sadly if we don’t improve on the second half of last season we will be selling a lot more at the deadline.....as a non playoff team

I don't see that scenario playing out. If it gets ugly Maurice is the next in line. Check the team direction around December. I suppose a few players could be shipped in that scenario but in my mind its very unlikely.
