Should be a couple pretty good hockey games on today, with Canada playing Finland, in the Gold medal game, at the World Championships and Halifax playing the Huskies in the Memorial Cup final.
Halifax has Lavoie, who I would love to see picked by Canucks at 10, and the Huskies have Dobson, who we should have picked at 7 last draft.

I believe he is a top 5 talent, so would love to get him a 10.
I would think habs may offer a nice package to move up, if he is available at 10, as I think Flyers would take him at 11.

I don't get the "code" around offer sheets, nor do I really believe there is one. It's just that most times, offer sheets don't make much sense. Either you are overpaying for a player's services which results in more draft pick forfeiture or the team will match.

The rare cases when offer sheets become effective are when teams are up against their budget or the salary cap.
